"We flew into medellin late and all we wanted was lechona and Restaurante Alberto made it happen! We were able to order via WhatsApp and choose a pick up time.. when we arrived, we paid and our food was picked up fresh right before us... We ordered Lechona Libra and Ajiaco, both of which were delicious! The lechona had so much flavor and the crispy pig skin was extra crispy! The ajiaco was flavorful and had great texture... I would recommend it to anyone!"

"This is a traditional (+30 years) pork restaurant, especializing in Lechona Tolimense. The restaurant has downsized dramatically over the years, but now it offers delivery. One of the highlights of the restaurant is the there is a special on Tuesdays and Thursdays (I think): you can buy three pounds of pork plus a dessert for $56,000 Colombian pesos +taxes (US$15 +taxes). We topped our order with natural lemonade. We also ordered four sweet baked plantains to go (surprise: they come with grated cheese and bocadillo [guava paste] to lick your fingers), so sweet, so tasty, so good! Medellín is very hot these days and this place was a hot oven inside! It's time to invest in air condition units or a couple of fans, so customers can enjoy the food."

"A decent plate costs approximately 40-50 mill peso. Good quality food. Complete source of protein"

"Have been several times and always had a great meal. The stuffed pig is the best which is sold by weight. The meat is taken out of the pig mixed with rice and small beans and put back inside pig and cooked. The skin is cooked until crispy and each plate gets a piece. The pig is on display when you walk in."
